my mind is wandering
high above the clouds
on various thoughts i'm pondering
peacefully among the noisy crowds..

of all the things that i can think
there is one i rather i dont
yet deep in it my heart does sink
despite promising me that it wont.

the harder i try to pull it out
even faster it goes back again
it puts my mind in self doubt
n makes me wonder if things ever will be the same.

the thought is of u
of all that we ever shared
of the little things which only u do
things which remind me, that probably you too, cared

i know its not possible
for us to be one again
yet i wish it weren't so horrible
the reality of it all...n also the pain

i really miss you
miss the joy that u brought
but there's nothing now that i can do
coz what will be, will be....that i can change not

so the reign is pulled
the heart is brought back again
its forced to stay where it should
forced to accept its pain

yet the heart refuses to listen
to it, all that matters is love
even though tears in my eyes so glisten
the knife plunges and kills the love

the heart too dies
its replaced by a stone
the eye no longer cries
the mind once again, is on its own

my mind is wandering
high above the clouds
just on thoughts it is pondering
coz the feelings along with the heart, are lost in the crowds........

hope it is not soo bad....{coz well...its not soo good either}
n yea...therez no u.....this poem is just trying to show the battle of the heart with the mind....which in my case..is always won by the mind!
